With turnkey technologies using tertiary oil recovery, we are able to increase the amount of oil recovered from an oil reservoir. At Gasteq, we use a cutting edge process which completes enhanced oil recovery through carbonated (CO2 enriched) water injection (CWI). According to research, CO2 partitioning between carbonated water (CW) and ‘’live’’ oil leads to rapid formation and growth of a gaseous new phase inside the oil which hugely boosts the performance of CW. Furthermore, the results of contact angle measurements have proven that carbonated water has a significant impact on the rock wettability state. CO2 flooding increases the production of oil by swelling the oil and decreasing the viscosity of oil, thus increasing the flowability of oil. Using our enhanced oil recovery technologies you can increase your production from a well by 75%.
